These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Webshot Archive ("Service"), operated by Webshot Archive ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Description of Service​

Webshot Archive is a visual regression testing platform that provides:

  • Screenshot comparison and visual diff generation
  • Visual diff analysis and reporting
  • GitHub integration for CI/CD workflows
  • Historical tracking of visual changes
  • API access for custom integrations

3. Account Registration and Security​

Account Creation​

  • You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • You must be at least 18 years old or have parental consent to use the Service

Account Security​

  • You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms

4. Acceptable Use​

Permitted Uses​

You may use Webshot Archive to:

  • Upload and compare screenshots captured with your own testing tools (Playwright, Cypress, etc.)
  • Integrate with your CI/CD pipelines and testing frameworks
  • Generate visual regression reports for your development team
  • Store and manage screenshot data for your projects

Prohibited Uses​

You must not use the Service to:

  • Upload screenshots that contain illegal, harmful, or inappropriate content
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Use the Service for spam, harassment, or other abusive purposes
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
  • Use automated systems to access the Service in violation of rate limits

5. Data and Content​

Your Content​

  • You retain ownership of screenshots and data you upload
  • You grant us a limited license to process and store your content for Service provision
  • You are responsible for ensuring you have rights to upload any content

Our Rights​

  • We may process and analyze your screenshots to provide comparison services
  • We may use anonymized, aggregated data for service improvement
  • We will not access your content except as necessary to provide the Service

Data Retention​

  • Screenshots are retained according to our Privacy Policy
  • You may request deletion of your data at any time
  • Some data may be retained for legal or security purposes

6. Subscription and Payment​

Free Tier​

  • We offer a free tier with limited features and usage
  • Free accounts are subject to usage limits and restrictions
  • We may modify free tier features with notice
  • Paid plans provide additional features and higher usage limits
  • Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis
  • Prices may change with 30 days' notice to existing customers

Payment Terms​
